2027 Jeep Gladiator: prices, trims, and the factory 35-inch tire package

The 2027 Gladiator keeps its 3.6-liter V6 and its frame, drops the base Sport, trims the lineup to eight models, starts at $42,100 and, for the first time, offers 35-inch tires straight from Toledo. Here is what Jeep has confirmed, what dealers and the press report.

Still the only convertible pickup, with a shorter menu

The Gladiator is a carryover for 2027: same first-generation JT that arrived for 2020, same 3.6-liter V6 and 8-speed automatic, same removable roof and doors. What changed is the lineup. The entry Sport is discontinued, so the Sport S is the new base; the Altitude and High Altitude packages return; and Jeep announced a limited 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition on October 26, 2026, calling it the most requested Gladiator upgrade.

Updated November 7, 2026. Items are marked CONFIRMED when they come from the manufacturer and REPORTED when they come from order guides, dealers or the automotive press and the maker has not published them yet. We update this page as the model year fills in.

The big news

35-inch tires from the factory, at last

Jeep announced the 2027 Gladiator 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition on October 26, 2026 as a limited-production package on Willys, Rubicon and Rubicon X, available to order in North America now. Jeep.com shows it as the Bronze Edition Package with the 35-Inch Tire Package. Everything in this list is from Jeep’s release. confirmed

Tires and wheels
35-inch all-terrain tires on bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels.
Hardware
A 1-inch factory lift, 4.56 axle gears, a full-time 4:1 transfer case, heavy-duty Dana axles and upgraded performance brakes.
Clearance and angles
12.9 inches of ground clearance; 46.7-degree approach, 23.3-degree breakover and 26.7-degree departure angles.
Look
Bronze badging and bronze tow hooks.
Price
Not announced as of November 7, 2026. reported
On sand
A 35-inch tire aired down to 18 to 20 psi puts a very long footprint on the beach, which is what keeps a 5,000-pound pickup from digging in, and the 4.56 gears put the long-wheelbase Gladiator’s torque where soft sand wants it. It is the one factory option on this list that changes how the truck behaves at Carova.

Drive it before you order it

Get to know the Gladiator before you buy it

The 2027 Gladiator keeps the frame, engine, axles and transmission of the truck you can drive today, so the test drive answers most of the question; the exception is the 35-inch tire package, whose gearing, lift and steering feel you will not get from a Gladiator on 33s. Bring your family, pick up the keys at an oceanfront hotel in Kitty Hawk, and spend five and a half hours driving a Gladiator, including about three on the Carova 4x4 beach north of Corolla. No salesperson meets you or rides along. Afterward you receive one written No-Haggle Price from a participating dealer for the trim built the way you want it.
