Buyer’s guide · Six-seat pickups
Most pickups traded the front bench for a big center console. A few off-road trims kept it, so the whole family rides in one truck. Here is which ones, what each brings to the sand, and what to check before you order.

The short list
Heavy duty · 2026 model year · bench standard
A cloth 40/20/40 split bench comes standard, so the crew cab Warlock seats six. Power is the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 (405 horsepower), riding on Bilstein shocks and 34-inch Goodyear DuraTrac all-terrain tires, with a transfer case skid plate and a limited-slip rear differential.

Half ton · 2026 model year · bench standard
The Custom Trail Boss pairs a 40/20/40 bench with a 2-inch factory lift, the Z71 Off-Road Package, skid plates, an automatic locking rear differential and mud-terrain tires. The standard engine is the 2.7-liter TurboMax four-cylinder (310 horsepower).
The Silverado is all new for 2027, and the 2027 Custom Trail Boss keeps the front bench for six as its only interior, now with 34-inch mud-terrains on the 2-inch lift. The 2027 Trail Boss doesn’t list a bench, so check seating if you want that trim.

Heavy duty · bench on the XLT
The XLT comes with a cloth 40/20/40 split bench, and adding the Tremor package keeps it. Tremor brings 35-inch all-terrain tires, a factory lift, an electronic locking rear differential, skid plates and Rock Crawl Mode. The gas engine is Ford’s 7.3-liter V8.

The most trail-ready truck that still seats six. A heated cloth 40/20/40 bench is standard, along with front and rear locking differentials, a disconnecting front sway bar, a front winch, Bilstein shocks, skid plates and the 6.4-liter HEMI V8.

A heated cloth 40/20/40 bench is standard, with the 6.4-liter HEMI V8, Bilstein shocks and a transfer case skid plate. Leather bucket seats come with the upgrade packages, so the bench goes away if you add them.
Half ton · 2026 model year · bench standard
The half-ton Warlock keeps a cloth 40/20/40 bench as standard. The 3.6-liter V6 (305 horsepower) is standard and the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 is available, with Bilstein shocks, a 1-inch lift, skid plates and all-terrain tires.
Half ton · bench on the XLT
The F-150 XLT comes with a cloth 40/20/40 bench, and the FX4 Off-Road Package is an option on XLT 4x4 trucks. FX4 adds skid plates, off-road shocks and all-terrain tires. Some XLT packages switch to console seats, so check that your build keeps the bench.

Bucket seats
These off-road trims come with bucket seats and a center console up front. Great trucks, but five seats, not six.
Bucket seats
Every Tundra seats five. Toyota doesn’t offer a front bench.
Midsize
Midsize pickups seat five. If you need six, you need a full-size truck. The Nissan Titan, the other full-size option, ended production in 2024.

Half ton and heavy duty
The Ram 1500 Tradesman comes with a vinyl 40/20/40 bench, the Express comes with a cloth one, and the Big Horn and Lone Star offer it as an option. On the Ram 2500, the Tradesman, Big Horn, Lone Star and Laramie all have a bench, the Laramie’s in leather.
Half ton and heavy duty
The Silverado 1500 offers a 40/20/40 bench on the WT, Custom, LT and RST. The LTZ, ZR2 and High Country have bucket seats only. On the Silverado HD, the bench comes on the WT, Custom and LT and is an option on the LTZ.

The Sierra 1500 offers the bench on the Pro, SLE, Elevation and SLT. On the Sierra HD, it’s offered on the Pro, SLE and SLT.
Half ton and heavy duty
The F-150 XL comes with a bench and the XLT offers one. On the F-250 and other Super Duty trucks, the XL and XLT come with a bench and the Lariat has it in leather. King Ranch and Platinum have bucket seats.

Check the seating line
The bench is tied to trim and package. Upgrade packages often swap it for bucket seats and a console. Before you order, open the build on the manufacturer’s site and check that the front seat reads 40/20/40 split bench, or that seating reads six.

For the 2026 model year, a 40/20/40 front bench is standard on the Ram 2500 Warlock, Ram 2500 Power Wagon, Ram 2500 Rebel, Ram 1500 Warlock and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss, and on the Ford F-250 XLT and F-150 XLT, which can be ordered with the Tremor and FX4 off-road packages.
